Garden Tour and Dinner

Beth's Gardens
After those of us who used Google Maps arrived late because the directions placed us 5 miles too far toward Silver Lake, we started the evening with some awesome lasagna, salad, and home-made rolls augmented with a berry drink. Next, we took a tour of Beth's estate (pictures below) which was unbelievably immaculate considering the size and scope of her gardens. After the tour, we moaned over a pound cake topped with blackberry syrup, with yummy ice cream on the side. It was obvious that Beth, and Leona, make good use of the variety of food that is grown in her gardens. Everyone suggested we pay Beth to host the rest of our meetings ;-) Speaking of meetings we discussed the Garden Tour, Town Garden watering, and planting.
